How I Became an Author and How I Make Graphic Novels Through Teamwork: An Afternoon with Megan Wagner Lloyd
Join bestselling and award-winning author Megan Wagner Lloyd as she shares her path to becoming an author. Megan will guide participants through the step-by-step process of how she creates her graphic novels (from Allergic to Squished to Super Pancake) starting with the first idea to the final art. The presentation will be followed by an audience Q & A and a book signing. Registration required.

Megan Wagner Lloyd is the Eisner-nominated writer of bestselling and award winning graphic novels and other books for kids.
Megan’s graphic novels ALLERGIC and SQUISHED, co-created with illustrator Michelle Mee Nutter, have won numerous state readers’ choice awards, in addition to both being instant indie bestsellers. ALLERGIC was nominated for an Eisner award and named a School Library Journal Best Graphic Novel of the Year, an American Library Association Best Graphic Novel, and a New York Public Library Best Book for Kids. Additionally, the audiobook was named an American Library Association Notable Children’s Recording.
