Family STEM Experience

Family STEM Experience

In today's Family STEM Experience, learn about astronauts and outerspace.

Family STEM Experience

Explore STEM topics in our new 4-part series of family programs, which incorporate video, story, discussion and experimentation.

Each session will introduce a different STEM topic, themed around an episode of the Book Drop video series and a picture book story.

Children ages 4 through 8 will learn and experiment alongside their families – caregiver adults and older siblings are welcome and expected to participate. You do not need to attend all 4 sessions.

Book Drop

Funded by the National Science Foundation, Book Drop is a free STEM storytime series from Twin Cities PBS and STAR Library Network (STAR Net). Book Drop is designed for kids ages 4-8 and their parents/caregivers, combining hands-on science and storytelling to inspire curiosity, connection, and a love of learning.

Participation

Intended for children ages 4-8, along with their families.
