Craft & Chat

Spend an afternoon crafting with us! Join us each month to learn new crafting techniques, chat with other crafters, and turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. This month, we will be tie-dyeing tea towels using the Shibori method. Shibori is a traditional Japanese technique for dyeing fabric, which creates stunning dark blue and white patterns. This is achieved by tying, bunching, folding, and wrapping the fabric to form resists. Please note: The natural indigo dye used will permanently stain clothing, so wear items you wouldn't mind getting marked. All materials will be provided while supplies last. Registration is required. For adults. One spot per person.
