Local author Alex Matsuo returns to share the global adventures featured in her new book Women of the Paranormal. In this work, Matsuo brings forward the stories of more than 35 remarkable women who helped shape a field long dominated by men. Through the experiences of investigators, parapsychologists, psychic mediums, cryptozoologists, and more, readers are introduced to a vibrant history where women not only influenced the direction of paranormal study but laid the groundwork for many modern investigative and psychic practices.
