Be Stroke SMART

Be Stroke SMART

Every 40 seconds, someone suffers a stroke! Every 4 minutes, someone dies from a stroke! Strokes are the 3rd leading cause of death for women and the 4th leading cause of death for people over 65 years old. Do you know how to spot a stroke before it is too late to save a life?

This class will present the cause of strokes and show how to recognize a stroke early enough to save a life and minimize the potential for disability. The life you save could be your parent, sibling, or your life partner. By sharing this information, you may save your own life!
