Monarch Butterflies: One of America's Favorite Natural Resources

Learn about the Monarch Butterfly North American migration through many US states and regions on their way to and from Mexico.

Scientist and butterfly expert, Nadya Muchoney, will talk with us and answer questions about Monarchs and their place in America's story. Why do Americans love them so much?

Learn about the many official "state insects" that represent U.S. states.  How can we protect these important natural resources of our country?

Following our virtual session with Dr. Muchoney, we will make a colorful butterfly craft.
