Something broken at home? Found a hole in a much loved clothing item? Frustrated with your computer or phone? Repair Cafe can help - Join us for repairs and snacks.

The Fairfax County Repair Café are volunteer repair experts with a focus on community. Once a month, we bring our tools and knowledge to a library in Northern Virginia, to provide repairs and advice for a variety of things. Repairs are free and provided on a volunteer basis

  • Sewing Repairs (ie. clothing, household decors)

  • Small and household appliances (ie. lighting fixtures, cookware)

  • Technology and Computer help

  • Toy Repairs

  • Knife Sharpening (3-blade limit per person)

  • Jewelry Repair

*Please note: we are unable to guarantee every volunteer will be able to come. 

Additionally, knife sharpening is available with a limit of 3 blades per visitor.

We're on a mission to build community resilience and make your stuff last longer.

No cost for admission or repairs, all repairs provided on a volunteer basis. Light refreshments available.
