Genealogy for Beginners, an Online Series: What to Research

Genealogy for Beginners, an Online Series: What to Research

Join us online via Zoom for this 5-part beginner genealogy series, a repeat of the popular fall program.

Whether you're new to the topic or need to catch up on a missed session, this class will cover the fundamental aspects of researching family history.

Session Topics:
Session 1: Before Researching (Tue, Feb 10)
Session 2: What to Research (Tue, Feb 17)
Session 3: Where to Research (Tue, Feb 24)
Session 4: How to Research (Tue, Mar 3)
Session 5: Documenting your Research (Tue, Mar 10)

Please note: you will need to register separately for each individual session.

The class will be lead by Michele LeTourneur, a family history enthusiast and avid researcher. Michele has been interested in family stories for over 35 years but started her own deep-dive into genealogy in 2020. She is a member of the Fairfax Genealogical Society.
