Story Swap: Immigrant Voices and the American Dream

True stories told live!

To celebrate America's 250 anniversary, Kings Park Library is hosting a story swap! Our theme is Immigrant Journeys: Immigrant Stories and American Dreams. Are you an immigrant, or do you have a story about your family's American dream? Adults ages 18+ are invited to listen and tell true stories in front of an audience. Refreshments will be provided.

Want to tell a story?

Stories should be true stories composed by the storyteller, and should last approximately 10 minutes. Preference will be given to storytellers who attended our Storytelling Basics workshop on May 19th. If you are interested in telling a story, please register below. All interested storytellers will be contacted prior to the event to confirm participation.
