Great Decisions: Debating America's Global Role
Trump’s return has marked a break from 80 years of U.S. foreign policy leadership, embracing an “America First” approach.
Join us for a new discussion group of the Foreign Policy Association's Great Decisions program. For our first meeting we will discuss the article "Debating America's Global Role: America First versus Liberal Internationalism" by G. John Ikenberry where we will explore the risks of isolation and diminished influence in relation to Trump 2.0 foreign policy. A short film on the topic will be shown at the start of the program followed by a mediated discussion.
Discussion materials are available at the Information Desk at the Dolley Madison Library. For Adults.
