Join us for a presentation by Dick Hamly on the Colonial history of the Church of England in Fairfax County. Dick is a researcher and docent at Pohick Church and will cover the following material:  

• The founding of counties, parishes, and early churches in our area
• The first Pohick Church and the notable vestry 
• Who built the current Pohick Church -- it takes a village!
• The transition from the Church of England to the Protestant Episcopal Church of Virginia and freedom of religion
