Book Launch: The Nightingale Kept Singing by Teddi Ahrens

Join us for the launch event of The Nightingale Kept Singing by local award-winning author and artist Teddi Ahrens! Hear an excerpt from her book and learn about the writing and research process!
About the book: The Nightingale Kept Singing is based on the experiences of a real family trapped in the siege of Leningrad when the Nazis invaded during World War II. Fifteen-year-old-Nadia has to make desperate choices if she is to save her family.

This event is for ages 12 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is preferred but walk-ins are welcome!
