Bird Walk @ Frying Pan Farm Park

 

Join the Northern Virginia Bird Alliance and the Fairfax County Public Library for an engaging bird walk at Frying Pan Farm Park. This event is open to all making it an excellent opportunity for new birders to observe the remarkable fall migratory species. Participants will convene with the group leader outside the Frying Pan Park Visitor Center. The birding guide for this event is Luke High, a leader for NVBA’s NextGen group and has led numerous birding events throughout the Northern Virginia area.

  • All NVBA bird walks are open to all ages, although children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • We welcome new birders as well as veterans: bring your binoculars.
  • Some walks are on flat, paved surfaces that are accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. For more information about accessible bird outings, please email info@nvbirdalliance.org.
  • Many walks are on grass or dirt trails, so wear appropriate shoes.
