Resilience and Resistance: The Life of Dr. E.B. Henderson
Join us for a compelling lecture presented by Edwin B. Henderson II, an accomplished historian, educator, and founder of the Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation. His grandfather, Dr. E.B. Henderson, founded the first rural branch of the NAACP and introduced basketball to the African American community in Washington, D.C., leading to him receiving the title of “The Grandfather of Black Basketball.” Henderson will also share the powerful story of his family's multigenerational commitment to civil rights.
