Kids Learn About Baking
This program is for kids who are not familiar with baking. How do we stay safe in the kitchen? Why are measuring cups for liquids different than those for dry ingredients?
We will put together the dry ingredients for Hermit Cookies. You will take home handouts {about baking basics, hermit cookies, and the recipe}; the flour and spices you’ve mixed together. At home, you'll add the wet ingredients and bake the cookies. For ages 8-12 years old.
SPACE IS LIMITED! Pick up a ticket at the service desk starting at 12:30.
