Toy soldiers in blue uniforms and tricorn hats play a fife and drum marching with an American flag.

Make a Civic Pride Mini Parade Float

Express your civic pride. Take a shoe box and decorate the top or bottom like a mini parade float celebrating something that makes you proud of your community. It might be a landmark, an organization, a school, an industry, a social or cultural group, or a patriotic ideal for the 250th.

At the end of the program we will line them up as if they were in a table top parade. Shoeboxes, cardboard, tissue paper, streamers, glue and drawing materials will be available for use. Feel free to supplement your design with small toys or souvenirs from home. This program is for adults. Adult led family teams are welcome. Register for a reminder. Walk-ins welcome while supplies last.
