SASHIKO FOR BEGINNERS
Sashiko, is a traditional Japanese form of decorative reinforcement stitching and embroidery that uses a simple running stitch to create beautiful, repeating geometric or nature-inspired patterns. Originally used by farmers and laborers in 17th-century Japan to mend and insulate clothing, it is celebrated today as a relaxing, meditative craft. The Instructor , will teach and show basic Stiches in the Sashiko form.
