The Story of Ford's Theatre

Discover the legacy of Ford's Theatre in Washington D.C with guest speakers from the museum. Originally a Baptist church, the building was converted into a performance theatre in 1863. In this lecture, staff will detail the infamous events surrounding President Lincoln's assassination. You'll learn about the building's transformation from a crime scene into a government facility as well as how the structure was restored into a national historic site and working performance space today!

Registration encouraged. Walk-ins welcome.
