Every Second Counts: First Aid and Emergency Response (Part 3)

PART 3

In this program you will learn: 

  • How to recognize critical signs of a stroke, heart attack, or diabetic emergency

  • How to manage seizures

  • How to use an EpiPen.

This course is meant to educate the public on basic first aid and emergency response, but does not offer any official certifications.

You do not need to attend other parts of this training to attend this session. Each training is designed to stand alone.

Registration not required but helpful. Recommended for ages 15 +
 

Our instructor is part of the Fairfax County Emergency Response Team (CERT) and helps to teach CERT basic training and first aid courses for Fairfax County. She is currently a student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and wants to make emergency response and first aid more accessible for the community. This program is not affiliated with Fairfax County Emergency Response Team (CERT)
