A special edition of our book club for rising 5^th through 7^th graders. Our book this month is Detour Ahead by Pamela Ehrenberg and Tracy Lopez. It is a story of two young people- a Salvadoran American boy who is a poet and a neuro-diverse Jewish girl who loves breakdancing and how they navigate the detours of their families, their friendship, and their lives. We’ll meet and talk about the book over pizza with coauthor Pamela Ehrenberg. For rising 5^th through 7^th grade students on their own. Space is limited and registration is necessary.
