- Metaphorical Tower: Build a tower representing a concept important in democracy. Share with the group the concept you chose and why it is important.
- Leader/Follower Build Challenge: Break into pairs and take turns testing your ability to communicate a vision and your ability to actively listen and bring the vision to life. The leader receives a design card and the follower building blocks. The follower cannot view the card. The leader cannot touch the bricks. The team tries to build something that matches the vision as closely as possible.
- Team Build Challenge with a Hidden Agenda Twist: Everyone gets a secret agenda, as well as, a team goal. Without revealing hidden agendas, participants try to incorporate it into the group's final build. This may involve making compromises.
