Fall for the Book Author Event: Nina Willner
Author and former US Army intelligence officer Nina Willner’s latest triumph hits close to home with The Boys in the Light: An Extraordinary World War II Story of Survival, Faith, and Brotherhood.
She tells two intertwined stories: her father, Eddie Willner’s, experience as a Jewish teenager forced into concentration camps, and the company of young American tankers who rescue him. Author Mitchell Zuckoff says, “In this beautifully braided story of heroic World War II tank crews and two remarkable Holocaust survivors, Nina Willner reveals the best and worst of humanity – and the best triumphs.”
