Qigong with Nevin Turk

Qi Gong is a traditional Chinese meditation and healing practice. The benefits of qigong include improved balance, greater mental focus, lower levels of stress and anxiety. In this class Nevin will focus on Qigong movements, self-applied massage, intentional breath awareness and relaxation to balance the nervous system and enhance vitality.

ABOUT NEVIN TURK

Nevin Turk is a Board certified, practicing, licensed acupuncturist. She has been practicing and studying yoga, qigong and Taichi with an eclectic variety of teachers for more than 20 years. She is a 500-hr certified yoga teacher by Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Qigong instructor by Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi. She continues to study with multiple internationally renown qigong teachers. 

She received her Master of Acupuncture degree from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. She offered weekly qigong and yoga classes, seasonal day-long retreats, and bone strength building workshops providing accessible wellness activities to the community. She is passionate about sharing natural but effective solutions to enhance wellbeing and in general for preventive health purposes.
