Journaling for Personal Growth: A Workshop for Women
What if a few reflective minutes with a pen and journal could help you better understand where you’ve been, who you are, and where you’d like to go next? In this warm and welcoming workshop, women will explore journaling as a creative tool for reflection, self-discovery, and personal growth. Through a few easy getting-to-know-you activities, guided journaling prompts, and opportunities for group discussion, participants will have a chance to reflect on their experiences, identify what matters most to them, and consider what they want to carry forward into the next chapter of their lives. We will also discuss how to incorporate journaling into your routine for reflection, to process daily experiences, and for stress relief. No previous journaling experience is necessary, and there is no “right” way to journal. The library will provide each participant with a journal to use during the workshop and take home afterward.
