Looking for community service hours this school year at Richard Byrd Library? The Teen Volunteer Information session will provide an overview of volunteer policies, available tasks, and sign-in procedure for the summer months. Volunteer hours are generally offered in the afternoons on Monday, Tuesdays & Wednesday and will involve program set-up, program assistance, reading with children, cleaning shelves, and locating books on shelves for collection lists. Students must be between the ages of 13 - 17 years old to volunteer and should plan on a ten-hour commitment over the fall semester. Students must attend an information session on to volunteer at Richard Byrd Library. Please register for either  September 21 or 22 sessions.
