D&D Club: Saturday Morning Campaigns
Ragnarok is coming! Odin has sent you and your crew to the mystical island of Cassius to plunder, pillage, and find worthy souls to join his army in the coming apocalypse! Play as viking raiders in an open-world sandbox that reacts to the party's choices. Beseech (or bribe) the Norse gods to provide boons and favors, but know that the gods can be mercurial or outright hostile. Use the party's hard-earned plunder to advance in level, or invest in your home base to provide greater benefits for new characters. Keep in mind: the PCs have a limited time to prepare for Ragnarok, and whatever allies, magic items, and souls they've accumulated will be all that stands between them and annihilation!
Core themes are survival, conquest, and a clash of faiths. Note that the party is not expected to be "good" - Odin demands plunder and souls, and very rarely cares about the means. Now go forth, brave warriors, and conquer!
This is a Teen Event, appropriate for ages 12-18.

House Rules: We're Going Old School
- No milestone leveling. XP is earned by defeating enemies, completing quests, and sacrificing treasure to the gods. Defeating worthy opponents (boss monsters and named NPCs) will net the party double experience! Odin needs worthy souls!
-No death saving throws! When a character is reduced to zero HP they can accept their fate and guarantee that whatever loot they have will make it back to home base, take a permanent injury such as losing a hand or an eye (which stacks - 'tis but a flesh wound!), or became an Einherjaer, rising on your next turn as an undead servant of Odin, with advantage against the creature who killed you and resistance to all forms of damage except Radiant and Necrotic. The catch: at the end of the fight your PC is called to Valhalla and is retired from play.
Species/Class restrictions:
-All PCs start at Level 3
-PCs can choose to be human, dwarf, high elf, goliath, halfling, or orc. Other species may become unlockable later in the campaign depending on the party's choices.
-PCs can select any class in the 5.5e (2024) version of the Player's Handbook. There are a few restrictions on subclasses, but more subclasses can become avialable depending on the party's actions:
-Warlocks can choose between a Fiend Patron (Surtur, the Fire Giant) or The Great Old Ones.
- Sorcerers can choose any subclass except clockwork sorcery
