Healthy Strides Wellness Book Club
Make healthy strides in your own life by joining the Healthy Strides Wellness Book Club. This club meets at different FCPL sites each month. Discussion on the featured books will be led by a Fairfax County Park Authority fitness and wellness expert, on topics in health, fitness, nutrition and wellness. This month's title is Relax into Yoga for Seniors: A Six-week Program for Strength, Balance, Flexibility, and Pain Relief by Kimberly Carson and will meet at Centreville Regional Library. Also recommended is The Telomere Effect: A Revolutionary Approach to Living Younger, Healthier, Longer by Elizabeth Blackburn and Elisa Epel. Wear comfortable clothing to do some yoga after the book discussion.
