Pre-College Preview Day will provide students and their families with the opportunity to hear about the value of Carnegie Mellon’s Summer 2019 Opportunities for Access & Inclusion for high school juniors and/or seniors. These programs provide rising juniors and seniors with the opportunity to focus on creativity and problem solving, in a supportive, challenging environment, which provide building blocks for future study in a rigorous college setting. Programs in artificial intelligence, gaming, math and science, and fine arts, including architecture, design, art, drama and music. MORE INFORMATION.

Students with the following backgrounds are invited to apply:

• Underrepresented minorities
• Families of low socioeconomic status, which may be indicated by eligibility for public assistance programs or free/reduced lunch programs
• Potentially first in family to attend college
• Attendance at rural or inner-city high schools with historically low rates of admittance to top-tier colleges
