Media Matters: Navigating Hot Topics
This four-part hands-on series gives tips, tools and strategies for evaluating today’s confusing array of news coverage and holding respectful conversations about difficult topics. The first two sessions focus on developing media evaluation and dialogue skills. The second two sessions provide an opportunity to practice those skills on timely topics. Offered in partnership between George Mason University’s School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution and Fairfax County Public Library. Adults. R.
