Reston Regional Library is thrilled to partner with Scrawl Books to welcome children's book and middle grade author Hena Khan as she shares her stories and creative process. Hena will read from her latest book UNDER MY HIJAB. Books will be available for purchase from Scrawl Books. All ages.

Free copies of UNDER MY HIJAB will be given to the first 10 school-aged children.
Free copies of AMINA'S VOICE will be given away to the first 10 teen attendees.
Individuals must be present at the event to claim their free book. 

About the Author:
Hena Khan is the author of novels and picture books, including Amina's Voice, the Zayd Saleem series, Crescent Moons and Pointed Minarets, and many others. Her book Golden Domes and Silver Lanterns was a 2013 ALA Notable Book and a 2013 Bank Street College of Education Best Children’s Book of the Year. Her latest book is titled Under My Hijab and was published in February 2019.
