Julie Langsdorf & Angie Kim: Author Talk & Book Signing
Reston Regional Library is thrilled to partner with Scrawl Books to welcome Julie Langsdorf and Angie Kim for an author talk and book signing. Julie will discuss her much talked-about book, White Elephant, and Angie will discuss her celebrated book, Miracle Creek. Books will be available for purchase. Adults.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Julie Langsdorf is the recipient of four individual artist awards from the Maryland State Arts Council and her short stories have appeared in several literary magazines. White Elephant is her first novel. Julie lives, writes, and teaches yoga in Washington, D.C.
Angie Kim moved as a preteen from Seoul, South Korea, to the suburbs of Baltimore. She attended Stanford University and Harvard Law School, where she was an editor of the Harvard Law Review, then practiced as a trial lawyer at Williams & Connolly. Her stories have won the Glamour Essay Contest and the Wabash Prize in Fiction, and appeared in numerous publications including Vogue, The New York Times, Salon, Slate, The Southern Review, Sycamore Review, The Asian American Literary Review, and PANK. She lives in northern Virginia with her husband and three sons. Miracle Creek is her first novel.
