Astronomy Night on the National Mall - FREE

NOVA’s largest astronomy event returns to the National Mall for its tenth year running! Amateur and expert stargazers unite for a free guided tour of the night sky, thanks to Dr. Donald Lubowich, Coordinator of Astronomy Outreach at Hofstra University, and many other astronomical organizations.

Festival will feature hands-on activities, demonstrations, videos, and even a planetarium show! There will be opportunities to gaze through telescopes set up along the Mall, providing sights of sunspots as well as close-up views of the Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, double stars, and star clusters! Individuals can also speak with representatives from science institutions and universities and learn more about astronomical discoveries and careers in science. More information
