Modeling Life - A Crash Course (two weeks)

What: A crash course on mathematical modeling in life sciences, providing hands-on experience with analytical and computational tools that help researchers answer questions about epidemics, cancer, infectious diseases, climate dynamics and more.  The computer lab will be used; students do not need to bring their own. More information. 

Who: For students with some familiarity with differential equations and programming preferred

When: June 17-28, Mondays-Fridays, 10:00 - 3:00 pm including lunch break (lunch not provided)

Fee: $1500 (includes all materials, computer lab provided)-need-based scholarship available for student documenting need
