Alexandria Black History Museum

Please join us to hear from Ms. Audrey Davis, Director of the Alexandria Black History Museum, and Mr. Ron Chase, Director of the Gum Springs Historical Society and Museum.  Together they will provide a historical presentation of both Alexandria's black community and that of Gum Springs, named after a gum tree that once marked prized farmland.  We will also hear about current and future exhibits at each of the museums.

This event is co-sponsored by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Mt. Vernon branch.
