Alexandria and the American Revolution

Historian Patrick O’Neill will discuss little-known local events in the War of Independence: a smallpox inoculation campaign at Jones Point, then a foray by British warships targeting Alexandria and Mount Vernon.

This program is appropriate for ages 13 and older.
