Freedom and Dance for All

Freedom and Dance for All

Join educator and author Clarence McFerren II to learn about freedom and dance for all. Black citizens have endured a plethora of social injustices leading to the internalization of adverse experiences causing an oppressive emotional dissonance between physical and psychological freedom. McFerren discusses how dance has positively influenced mental health from slavery to the present. It should be noted that freedom and dance should be for all and not just the privileged.
