Take a virtual tour of the night sky and learn about star maps during webinars. Hosted by the Analemma Society. Registration required.

Monday, May 3: Sign into the “Night Sky: Intro to Star Maps Webinar” and learn about sky coordinates. Learn how astronomical objects are represented on maps of the sky and how to read star maps to find your way among the stars. The talk will be illustrated by a variety of star atlases.

Wednesday, May 12: Participate in the “Night Sky Tour Webinar.” This program is a fun tour of planets, constellations, stars, nebulas, and galaxies that can be seen with the naked eye or through a telescope. No prior knowledge of astronomy is needed.

Both programs run from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and are being offered in an online Zoom format. They are designed for participants age 8 to adult, and the cost of each is $8 per person.
