Explore virtually the history of Latin American cinema traditions and their influence on contemporary film from the region, including Alfonso Cuarón's Oscar-winning Netflix production! Dr. Lisa Rabin will cover approaching Latin American films as art forms, industrial products and also popular culture, with examples from across Latin American regions, including Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, Mexico, and Cuba.
