Groovy Nate - OUTDOOR Performance

Outside in our parking lot on a mobile stage. Chairs provided but feel free to bring your own if you like (or a small one for the kids).

If inclement weather, will be moved inside to meeting room.

Groovy Nate is a children’s entertainer and a Wolf Trap/Kennedy Center Teaching Artist who creates fun and educational shows using exotic musical instruments, comedy, and puppet skits— a la Sesame Street meets Parliament/Funkadelic, meshed with The Electric Company, Kraftwerk, and Dub Reggae. Ages 4-12.

Co-sponsored by the Friends of Sherwood Regional Library.

Part of our 50th anniversary celebration -- stay for our other performances & activities:

2:00  Mariachi band: Mariachi Aguila DC

Indoor activities include:

-- Papermaking (in our TECH LAB upstairs, all-ages)

-- Scavenger hunt

--"Make or take" kids' craft

-- Historical displays & slideshow of Sherwood library's past

-- Refreshments
