CANCELLED: Flushed! The Journey of Wastewater Series (2 of 2)

This program has been cancelled. We will reschedule it for a later date.

Do you know what happens to wastewater once we create it and the impact it may have on our lives? How to avoid expensive sewer backup repairs, and protect our local rivers? The future planning and sustainability initiatives of wastewater management in Fairfax County and the potential impact?

Melissa Atwood, an experienced and knowledgeable chemist with Fairfax County Wastewater Management, is going to take us on an eye-opening journey, virtually via Zoom, about wastewater management in this free 2-part series. Come prepared with questions and get all of them answered in a timely manner. Teens and adults.

Part I Wastewater management reality, which includes the journey of wastewater, the impact on our lives, how to avoid expensive sewer backup repairs, and local river protection.

Part II Wastewater management future planning and sustainability initiatives in Fairfax County and the potential impact.
