All Access Book Club
This month's book is Our Souls at Night by Kent Haruf
Seventy-year-old widow Addie Moore asks her neighbor Louis Waters to spend the nights with her in her bed to help with the loneliness they both feel. As the two talk in the night they become close, but they become the subject of gossip in their small town. Contains some strong language.
The All-Access Book Club meets on the first Thursday of every month at 11:00 a.m. via conference call. We read a variety of books and have an engaging conversation. Selected titles are available in the Talking Books and FCPL collections in various formats.
To join the discussion: Call 703-324-1800 or the toll-free number, 1-877-862-8112. At the prompt, enter the code 389887.
For more information, please call Access Services at 703-324-8380, TTY 703-324-8365 or email libas@fairfaxcounty.gov.
