Are you interesed in bird watching? Want to learn to use binoculars?

Learn about birding and how to use binoculars at Sherwood Regional Library! Expert birder Claire Kluskens and Audubon at Home Ambassador, Betsy Martin, will teach us binocular tips & tricks and how to identify species of birds in this two-part workshop

June 18, 10:00 a.m.: Meeting at Sherwood Regional Library, we will learn to use binoculars in the wooded area behind the library. Get introduced to 16 species of commonly sighted birds and learn how to identify them. Bring your own binoculars or use a pair of binoculars from the library (limited supply).

June 25, 10:00 a.m.: We will meet at a known birding hotspot on the shores of Little Hunting Creek. The address will be sent to participants a few days before the event. Participants will practice identifying bird species previously introduced as part of a Citizen Science project.
