Ghosts, Goons and a Bunny Man (Virtual)

Join us for this spooktacular event! Ghosts, Goons and a Bunny Man gives a lighthearted look at the spooky legends and stories of the area, as well as their factual origins. Presentation by Cindy Bennett of the Burke Historical Society.

A native of Ohio, Cindy earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Akron, and a M.A. in the same subject from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  Prior to retirement in 2021, she spent 15 years as the Director of a trade association foundation, and is still working as the co-owner of Archery Academy in Fairfax Station. She is the Treasurer of the Burke Historical Society and a leader of her granddaughter’s Brownie troop. Cindy is the author of Wicked Fairfax County and Celebrating 100 Years of Gearing: The History of the American Gear Manufacturers Association.
