Pu-Chin Waide was born in 1940 in Anhwei, China and in 1946 her family moved to Darjeeling in India where she grew up before arriving in the USA and graduating from Berkeley. Continuing her education in the UK, she met her husband and came back to the DC metro area where she has been living for the past 60 years. After her two children grew up and left home, she eventually wrote and published her father's memoirs and has written her short stories and poems that capture the imagination!
