Intergenerational Kawaii Craft Program

Intergenerational Kawaii Craft Program

What is kawaii? According to Merriam-Webster's Words We're Watching, "in Japanese, the word kawaii has a meaning that sits more or less at the juncture of 'cute,' 'tiny,' or 'lovable'...[kawaii] communicates the unabashed joy found in the undemanding presence of innocent, harmless, adorable things." We can all use a little more joy in our lives! Come prepared to smile when you look at your finished craft. The craft will involve sewing pieces of felt together with needles and thread. The dexterity needed to handle sharp needles can be tricky for young hands, and we do have limited supplies, so please respect the registration age level that is for set for ages 8 - adult.
