DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a creative adventure with special guest artist 
 Areej AlQaysi! She’ll guide us step-by-step as we paint a vibrant 
 abstract floral masterpiece with acrylics. Don’t forget to wear an old 
 shirt—things might get a little colorful!\n\n\nAreej is an Iraqi-born 
 painter\, home designer\, and art teacher based in Virginia since 2016. A 
 RISD-trained artist\, she also received a painting scholarship from 
 Scottsdale Art School and has studied with renowned artists both in the 
 U.S. and abroad. She is an active member of several regional and 
 international art organizations\, regularly participating in exhibitions 
 and shows. With an MA in English Literature\, her work is deeply influenced 
 by classical and contemporary art\, literature\, and her multicultural 
 journey from the Middle East to the U.S. Her vibrant paintings reflect a 
 blend of heritage\, history\, and personal experience. Areej works from her 
 home studio and is active in the DMV plein air art scene.
