SUMMARY:Book talk with Mike Jawer\, author of "Sensitive Soul: The Unseen Role of Emotion in Extraordinary States"
DESCRIPTION:You’ve heard it before…she or he is a “sensitive soul.”
Maybe you are one yourself. But what does the phrase really
imply?\n\n\n\nIn this program\, Michael Jawer considers 5 kinds of
“sensitive souls” and looks at what they have in common. Namely:
 individuals with autism\, synesthetes\, savants\, child prodigies\, and
children who remember past lives. He shows how their special kinds of
sensitivities might develop and what they say about nature vs. nurture\,
empathy\, spirituality\, and especially emotion – which is key for all of
us\, not just “sensitive souls” with extraordinary
abilities.\n\n\n\nAdults. Registration is required. An email will be sent
to all registrants one to two days before the event.\n\n \n\n
