Exploring Tarot | A Journey

How to Read and get Started

This 3-part class offers an introduction to the Smith-Rider Waite Tarot deck (and others inspired by it). Three sessions meet weekly on Thursday evenings. Register for all the sessions to maximize your experience.

Class One: Tarot Origins & the Major Arcana
Class Two: The Minor Arcana and Tarot Spreads
Class Three: Divination Methods & Theory

Class Two: The Minor Arcana and Tarot Spreads

Explore the oft neglected and highly detailed Minor Arcana of the Tarot. The Minor Arcana provides useful context, subtle symbols, and incredible details about your readings; yet many Tarot readers avoid the Minor Arcana because it seems confusing or inaccessible. Celebrity Occultist Dan Eckhart guides guests through the Minor Arcana, and towards a nuanced use of the tarot's most overlooked component. This session will also address Tarot Spreads, or the ways in which tarot cards are used to create divinatory meaning.
