Visible Mending Day - This session teaches decorative mending, using creativity to turn the damages into something fixed, but different. This is a hand sewing focused session. We will learn various visible mending techniques such as sashiko stitching, patchworking, and darning. Embroidery floss will be used, so feel free to bring your own colors and supplies if you have any. If you have clothes that you wish to be mended or used in the session (sock with a hole, frayed hem, etc) bring them! Ages 13-18.

What to bring:

• Clothes that you want to be visibly mended 
• Embroidery floss and supplies (Optional)
