Teen Sewing 101 Workshop (Girl Scout Gold Award)

Hello! Welcome to Sewing 101, a beginner’s introduction to sewing for teens. We will learn the fundamentals of sewing, mending, and eventually upcycling clothes! This Gold Award project is focused on reducing fast fashion by learning this valuable skill and to make unwearable clothes wearable again! Each session is a stand alone class but it is encouraged to attend the Machine Day if you plan on attending Mending Day or Upcycle Day. If you are unable to, we are still happy to catch you up to speed! Ages 13-18.
